By making a reservation with CubaXpress, you expressly agree to the following terms and conditions of sale. It is essential that you read and understand these terms before proceeding with any reservation, as they will take effect immediately upon confirmation of your reservation.

THE CUSTOMER MUST BE AWARE BEFORE CONFIRMING THEIR RESERVATION
RENTAL CONDITIONS VARY DEPENDING ON THE CONTRACT THAT CONFIRMED YOUR RESERVATION.
To pick up the car, the customer must present a contract, a valid passport, and a physical driver's license held for at least one year.
*Electronic licenses and photocopies are not accepted; only the original.
The requested reservation and the confirmed rental are never based on the car model. Only the car category and transmission type are confirmed.
*All these costs are included in the final price of the car, except for the additional driver and drop-off. In some contracts, they may be included from abroad if requested by the customer.
CubaXpress is not responsible for fuel-related issues.
PENALTIES FOR RESERVATIONS CONFIRMED BY DIRECT CONTRACT OR BY WHOLESALE AGENCIES FOR TRANSTUR, REX, VIACAR
Reservations confirmed by direct agency contract or wholesaler contract do not include date changes within 10 days of the service.
From 10 days to 3 days prior to the service, the customer has the option to change the time, name, and airport free of charge, provided it is in the same province. The second change costs USD 50.00.
In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:
The rental company will not refund reservations due to passport-related issues, as it is the customer's responsibility to have a valid passport with extensions and expiration dates.The Rental Company will not refund any fees for early car deliveries or extra services such as an additional driver or drop-off if used.
The Rental Company will not refund reservations for customers who miss their own flight, change flights, or do not arrive within the 24-hour period established in the contract.
The Rental Company will not refund reservations due to storms, natural disasters, or political unrest outside the national territory.
The Rental Company will only refund reservations if force majeure is declared in the national territory.
The Rental Company will not refund car conditions if the vehicle is used without any notes provided in the contract.
Complaints about card payments, in order to avoid penalties in violation of the current contract, will result in registration on the "no-show" list. The customer will not be able to reserve another car at the destination in the future and runs the risk of being blocked by customs officials.
CubaXpress is not responsible for any situations of any kind related to the reservation beyond our control.
PENALTIES FOR RESERVATIONS CONFIRMED BY TRANSTUR AVAILABILITY
Once reservations are confirmed by AVAILABILITY in the system, modifications will not be permitted under any circumstances. Any changes must be canceled and rebooked. If the reservation has already been paid, the corresponding fees will apply according to the previously defined terms.
For confirmed reservations, cancellation will be carried out according to the following terms:

CHANGE CONDITIONS
Although it is not our intention to make changes to your reservation, agreements with our suppliers are sometimes made well in advance, and therefore we cannot control possible changes made by third parties.
The first change requested by customers will be free of charge, and subsequent changes will be subject to a fee of USD 50.00 plus the difference in rental days.
Date changes can be made up to 10 days prior to the reservation date, provided there is availability for the new date. Cancellation due to lack of availability will result in the payment of the corresponding penalty, depending on the contract applicable to the reservation.
Name, time, or airport changes can be made up to 72 hours before the reservation, provided they are in the same province.
Reservations confirmed by availability contracts do not include changes or cancellations.
Complaints about card payments, in order to avoid penalties in violation of the current contract, will result in registration on the "no-show" list. The customer will not be able to reserve another car at the destination in the future and runs the risk of being blocked by customs officials.
PAYMENT METHODS
Once payment has been made, the indicated service price is firm and guaranteed and will not be modified by CubaXpress even if the exchange rate fluctuates. Likewise, after the invoice payment arrangements have been made, the client cannot request a change in the price paid in the case of promotional offers offered by CubaXpress.
In the case of payment plans, the client must pay 25% of the reservation; the balance of the service will be due no later than 20 days before the contract is executed.
Reservations made within 20 days require immediate payment.
Accepted payment methods: Direct Deposit to Chase Bank, Zelle, or credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard). A 4% fee is added to the latter.
In the case of online reservations, payment is made by credit card. The cardholder's name must match the name of the Customer who made the reservation; otherwise, the necessary documentation will be required to verify the legitimacy of the payment. If the legitimacy of the payment cannot be verified, your reservation will be canceled without recourse, and the payment will be returned to the credit card holder. The cardholder will be charged discounts related to the online payment system tax and processing fees.
In the case of third-party payments by credit/debit card, the cardholder must leave a payment statement along with their ID.
As soon as you have paid for your reservation, CubaXpress will send you an invoice, and you will receive your reservation voucher within 24 hours.
Claims for card payments, to avoid penalties for violating the current contract, will result in registration on the non-welcome list. The customer will not be able to reserve another car at the destination in the future and runs the risk of being blocked by customs authorities.
CLAIMS AND REFUNDS
Claims will only be accepted in writing to info@rentcubaxpress.com with a copy of the contract issued by the rental company, along with relevant supporting documentation.
The customer must contact CubaXpress in real time so we can assist them or contact our representative.
To file a claim, the customer must request a copy of the contract with a note of the inconvenience.
CubaXpress will refund the difference in the cost of the car if the customer is given a car of a lower category than the one reserved, provided that they notify CubaXpress or the corresponding representative directly when picking up the car. This must be indicated on the copy of the contract that must be sent to us.
The rental company has a period of up to 3 months for the refund to become effective. The customer will only be reimbursed once the credit reaches CubaXpress.
Claims for card payments, in order to avoid penalties for violating the current contract, will result in registration on the non-conformity list. The customer will not be able to reserve another car at the destination in the future and runs the risk of being blocked by customs officers.
